Does anyone have any idea about the BNSF MOW or Assistant signalman positions. Should I go ahead and put a divorce lawyer on retainer. I am really interested in either of these jobs and don't mind being away from home or the irregular hours. I would however not like to be gone all of the time. Is there a territory that I would cover or is it a nationwide deal? It seems they hire for specific areas but everyone that I have talked to says to get a good suitcase, tell the kids see you in 20 years and tell the milkman to take care of your wife. Is this really the case or is this just the way to try and weed out people.
I have seen alot of talk from engineers and contuctors but not much about the craft positions. If you could just put in you two cents it would be appreciated.
