BNSF DFW and Houston Subs

Hello,

I'd like to find out the current and future conditions of the BNSF line from Dallas to Houston. What are the conditions of the track (weight of rail, signal system, etc.)? Is there any work being done to improve the line (heavier rail, tie replacement, etc.)?
