CM&Q owns the BAR reporting marks, as did MM&A before. No need to spend time/effort relettering cars when the marks still represent the company ownership. Especially since those cars are essentially captive, having hit the age of 40, preventing them from interchange.

Thanks for the info. I thought the mark had been abolished as MMA restenciled everything that was BAR to MMA other than theses log cars.

Not bad for cars delivered in 1964 and 1968. That Derby Shops rebuild in the 80's and 90's gave them a third life.
