Reports elsewhere are that the P-32 I observed heading #3(23), was #500 and was leading to KCY for assignment as back up power for the Runners.
The P32-BWH is considered to be a design varient of GE's Dash 8 40B Roadswitcher,and was morphed into the "test Bed" of the P-40/42 design
after Amtrak ordered the P-40 from GE Erie.
