Only 92% of the full complement of trains was reviewed this period due to annulments caused by flooding, programmed trackwork, and other operational incidents on the routes of the City of New Orleans, Boston section of the Lake Shore Limited, and the KCY Corridor.
The only services to show improvement in both measured categories were the eastbound Cardinal and both directions of the Crescent.
Of the 95 trains that were more than 2' late: the Crescent accounted for 21, the Lake Shore Limited for 15, and the Capitol Limited for 6.
Of the total delay minutes in this period: the STL Corridor accounted for 22%, the DET Corridor for 16%, the BUF Corridor and the Crescent for 14% each, and the Lake Shore Limited for 12%.
Clearly, no relief from this dismal level of performance is within sight.
