Well seeing how 40 is all done with the mechanical and the radio is the last thing to do i have started on the install.it is being done when i can and a HT used for now. it is getting a Motorola CDM-1250 In sealed Boxes. and a Comprod/Sinclair Excalibur transit antenna


here is the antenna i installed this past sat 6/30/07

Radio is now installed 95% of the way. The shop crew has to get the dynamo going and check its polarity to wire up the inverter/battery charger

i just relized i never changed my sig when i got promoted to Credit Tech

it is some nice pics i did do away with the External Volumn and Horn Speaker


the horn speaker sounded like hell

and the Volumn control caused way to much distortion

Thanks. You have given me some ideas about how to install the radios I have here at Midwest Railway Preservation Society. The engine is a Alco RS3 that we have been using for a long time here. Looks like you had a darned good install on that old steamer there. Congratualtions
