It is no longer outside the Lancaster enginehouse..
it was moved (1-2 years ago) and is now parked inside the Gould coupler industrial park in Depew.
it is not accessable from inside the industrial park (private property)
but it is visable from the end of Erie Place, a small dead-end street off Gould Ave.
the unit is a derelict shell, and has been mostly stripped of usable parts.

3603 was scrapped in 2009.

I am putting together a list of all the RS-11 units that still exist for the next issue of ALCO NOTES. I am also including RS-36's.
The Maine Coast unit will be on the list providing it doesn't get scrapped first. It would make a nice museum addition (AHTS ?).
See the railswap ad currently running.

Are there any former Northern Pacific RS-11's still around today (in part or in whole)?

Thank you.

I am still working on this, but having difficulty finding out what the CURRENT Status of Amsterdam leasing RS11's are. Anyone know?

Former LTV 7201 and 7202 are stored in New Jersey, as is 7221.

Spotted a ex-Maine Coast RS-11 coming eastward on a Norfork Southern freight in Cresson, Pa. today. It was the fourth unit in a four-unit lashup. Appeared to be working. Reporting marks of SVGR on the cab (Savage Services?). Didn't get its number.

One of the M&E RS11s has supposedly been sold.

That's great news. I've been keeping my fingers crossed, hoping that she'd find a new home before it was too late.
