The following URL presents the "current" roster of the Arkansas & Missouri Railroad. There is a claim on the page that CN 2310, 2319, 2320, 2325, 2327, 2332 ( all MLW M636s) are stored at Springdale. Is there any truth in this?

This next link is a look at the shops at Springdale, Arkansas. I see a nice mix of C420s, an RS36?, a couple of C424s (BRC), some T6s, some passenger vehicles, some UP behemoths, an M420?, and some parts units.

While this satellite imagery may not represent today or even a month ago, it seems to be close to accurate as per the present state of things. What happened to these M636s?

There is; however 1 CN M630 still in Canada.

I read several years ago that they were scrapped when plans to expand the system didn't materialize (I think it was in that Trains magazine profile of the line if anyone remembers that).

Is that the one that is in some yard (MacMillian or something like that?) I forget.

What's its status? Ownership? Plans?

It is still owned by CN, parked at their McMillan yard, Toronto. It was intended to be used as a backup generator in case the dire predictions of Y2K came about. It appears to be in decent shape physically. http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... ?id=188166 It is serial#M6052-19 built in 1971. I'm not sure what CNs plans are for it.
