I understand the dynamics on the 628's, 630's and 636's were located in the space originally designed for steam generators (directly behind the cab). I am looking for any diagrams or information pertaining to their location and/or function. Please.

Hi,

The C-628 had a large air intake on the left side behind the cab, with two square exhausts at the top of the hood, also on the left side.

The C-630 and C-636 had two smaller intakes behind the cab (one on each side), and the two square exhausts were set across the top of the hood (side by side) instead of along the left side as in the 628.

Hope this helps,
