The Claremont Concord Railroad, formerly the Claremont & Concord RR, in Claremont Jct. NH has been sold
to the New England Central RR/G&W Inc. Formal takeover is planned for this fall. They have three Alco S4
locos. #102 is at Claremont Jct. OOS, used as parts unit. #104 is at West Lebanon NH OOS with freeze damage.
#105 is at Claremont Jct. in service.

It is unknown whether the three Alcos are part of the sale or not, but either way, they are expected to be
disposed of. It is expected that the NECR will assign an EMD SW1500 to Claremont Jct. and whatever power
happens to be assigned as the White River Jct. switcher to service West Lebanon.

From Kevin Burkholder:

"The Cooperstown & Charlotte Valley Railroad has successfully acquired both of the former Delaware & Hudson Alco S-4s from Genesee & Wyoming. The pair of Alcos, the 102 located currently in Claremont Jct., NH and the 104 in West Lebanon, NH, are being prepared for movement to Cooperstown, NY.

The units will reportedly be moved via Pan Am Railways and Norfolk Southern.
