The Pine Creek RR of Allaire NJ has recently lost three longtime active members.

Dorothy M. Newman, 80, passed away on Sept 20. Joining in 1968, she had been active for all that time, until recent health issues kept her home more and more. She served as chair of the Board of Trustees for many years. You could find her selling tickets and occasionally working the train punching tickets.

Alexander "Alec" J. Finch died about a month ago. I'll update the information. He served as Pine Creek's main conductor for many years, and in 1991, it was figured that he had the most mileage on Pine Creek, at that time around 11,000 miles.

Francis P. "Frank" Kelly, 81, died Sept 21. He was very active, serving whatever job needed to be done, as well as conductor and diesel engineer.

They were very active volunteers for many years. They will be missed.
