Last night I met with the Board of directors of a local non-profit railway organization here in Massachusetts about future storage of an F40PH on their property, this location would be good as it is connected to a main line railroad that could be used to bring in any unit we may acquire. While nothing is set in stone (hence why I am leaving out the name of the organization so no rumors get started) the board seemed open to the idea. The next step will be to try to connect with someone from the MBTA to ask about them donating one of their units as they are set to retire them soon.
