Go easy on me, just 'signed-up' today, and this is my first 'Post'...!

I live in Hammond, Louisiana, not too many decent RR Museums any where close by...

Discovered, on the internet, the Heart Of Dixie RR Museum, in Calera, Alabama...

Checked their website, and 'viewed' their layout on Google Earth....

Seems to have a decent rolling-stock collection, with weekend train rides...

Bout a 6-hour drive from me, would be an 'overnite' trip....

Thinking seriously bout going next weekend...

Anybody been there, got any comments, etc...???
