These videos were taken in 2007 during a visit to the Shore Line trolley Museum. The first video is a ride on Union Railway Trolley car 316 from Short Beach to the Trolley Barns. Car 316 dates to 1895 and is a single truck trolley. It is one of the first trolley cars at the museum and is one of the oldest operating trolley car at the museum. Because it has a single truck with a long overhang at each end, it tends to have a rather bouncy ride. The second video is a short ride on New Orleans trolley car 850 from the trolley barns to Sprague station. Car 850 came to the museum in the 1960s and had spent 40 years being restored. When restoration was complete, it toured the country and when it was finished touring the country, it entered regular service at the museum. I had a good time at the museum.
