Oh.... gosh...LOL, it is not a streetcar :-D 8361 is a trolley bus from Boston. It was the museum's first trolley bus in 1963. It served the Dorchester region of the MTA.

a trolley bus.....you mean a trackless trolley? i didn't know we had one from boston.....

Yup, 8361 & 8490.... both Pullman built coaches.

We also have approval to get two of the Flyer's once retired from Boston.

trackless trolley is right, that is the term that is used around here. Rest of the country uses the term trolley bus.

Some wonderful stuff moved over the last weekend.

ASL under her own power moved from Central to the shop and now rests over the pit. Boston EL car 01000 moved under her own power and that was a very cool sight to see. New Orleans Flexible bus also moved around under her own power.

Aline, sounds like I missed a great weekend at the museum, I have been tending to family stuff before our next patrol, starting next Tuesday. I will be around the museum (operating probably) Wed-Sat as we are off until we leave, are there any pictures floating around of the move of ASL 100???
