Howdy all,

I am putting together a reading list for a couple youngins interested in rail. I want them to learn everything, and from the best sources. I mean mechanical, history, business, etc. What are the best books on these subjects as they pertain to rails? It's tough figuring this out on my own as I don't have much time or computer/research skills. Hopin' y'all can help me out.

And apologies if this has been done before. Most of the books in the good reads thread were novel-types. Perhaps we can make this at the top of the list of threads in this forum?
