Do you suppose that GE could furnish batteries from their new plant if the hybrid idea doesn't work out for the battery version of the Green Goat. GE is also heavily invested in wind farm equipment and batteries make the whole system more valuable when the wind isn't blowing.

Given that Railpower has not had any orders for Green Goats (BTW, "Green Goat" refers only to the hybrids not the Railpower Genset units)since they had the battery fire related recalls I suspect that Corman may discontinue the hybrids altogether. Still, it would be a logical joint venture for GE..
