I came across some pictures of some scrapping of locomotives on the Port of Tillamook Bay RR recently. In one of a set of various, shows 2 ex-CNJ RDCs, 552 and 553. There is some info in this link about the cars in another forum.

The RR has been shut down for a few years due to massive damage from bad storms, and it looks like hope is fading for the line, as the antique power (GP and SD9s) are being cut up one by one. Are the ex-CNJ RDCs in danger as well? Ive seen it said that they are owned by a musuem that operated over some trackage, but have since been replaced.

Anyone know whats the deal out there?

edit: here is the link to the recent pics of the locos and cars

So it"s November now, what happened? Did the CNJ RDC"s get scrapped or are they still out there?
