For 48 years, Clayton Stevenson was a steam locomotive engineer with LVRR out of Sayre, PA. His father,William R. Stevenson, was also a LVRR steam locomotive engineer for many years. LVRR steam locomotive #202, the William Stevenson, was named after him. Clayton Stevenson had a photo collection of 600+ locomotives of LVRR and other railroads, including 169 LVRR steam locomotive photos. After his death in 1961, the photo collection was in the possession of his daughter, Aline Chapin, wife of Cecil Chapin of Forty Fort, PA. I would like to obtain a photo of LVRR steam locomotive #202, to learn what happened to the photo collection, to obtain any information that anyone might have about Clayton and William R. Stevenson. Any information would be much appreciated.
