CNJ Coach 1009 was acquired some years ago by the Black River Railroad Historical Trust, but only got from Pennsylvania as far as Phillipsburg, NJ when NS noticed it had friction bearings and sharon couplers and set it out there on BRR System property. Finally arrangements were made to have it carefully trucked to the BR&W at Flemington, NJ and it arrived at Ringoes this past weekend as part of the BR&W freight consist.

Members of the Trust will be restoring it to join the two operating CNJ cars, a combine and coach turned club car. New members of the Trust who would like to volunteer to help with the restoration or for any other railroad-related activities are welcome. See http://www.BRRHT.org
