Hi everyone, I live in South Jersey, stationed at McGuire, but I lived 18 years in North Jersey, Jefferson Twp.

I've heard some rumors about a sunken locomotive and I'm looking for a list of steam locomotives that CNJ had and what happened to them. Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance.

If you can find a copy, Warren Crater's book "Central RR of NJ Locomotives 1-999" is probably the greatest source of CNJ steam info, with pictures of almost every steamer they had, along with stats and other great info. Old book, maybe you can find it online.

There used to be a pretty intense website that listed all of CNJ's equipment, and I can't remember the URL (Big help, huh?) Maybe a Google search will help you find it. I'll look for it and post it if I find it.
