If anyone is interested I'd suggest following the LNE mainline from Portland, PA acorss the top of NJ on HistoricAerials. Almost all of the bridges and structures are still in tact just as they were in 1956. In some places you'd swear the track was just ripped out yesterday. Northern NJ seems to have been spared the urban sprawl the central part of the state has seen.
