Hello,

I have a friend who has been working on repainting a boxcar model created for the Microsoft Train Simulator platform with a L&HR livery. The car number is #2145. Does anyone know what is the numeric range for the series of boxcars in the L&HR fleet? I could not find any information about the L&HR boxcars in the L&HR East End Vol. 1 book.

Thank you in advance of your help.

Sincerely,

The Official Railway Equipment Register for January 1945 shows the series 2101 to 2175, but there are only nine boxcars in the group. They are 36 foot inside length boxcars, not shown as "Steel" so probably wood or partially wood construction, and only 60,000 pounds capacity.

Two cars are left as of the July 1950 ORER. The January 1955 and January 1959 ORERs have no boxcars at all in the LHR listing.
