Railroad Day in Sayre

Post by Richard1 » Mon Jun 10, 2013 10:15 pm

There will be a railroad symposium at the Sayre Theater on Columbus Day, Oct. 12, 2013 sponsored by the Sayre Historical Society and the Susquehanna Valley Chapter, NRHS. More details will be forthcoming soon. There will be several presentations that will cover the Lehigh Valley as well as on other local railroads, including the Erie-Lackawanna; and a presentation on the Pennsylvania Railroad's Elmira-Sodus Point Branch by Bill Caloroso. Richard Palmer will present a PowerPoint presentation on the early days of the Black Diamond Express.
