Perhaps this may be more appropriate for the Reading board...IS the location of the Ivy Ridge station on the Manayunk/Norristown line the same site as the old P&R Glen Willow station? Was it an original station to the PG&N and when did it close before being resurrected by Septa (if that in fact is the same locaton)?

Glen Willow was about 100 feet North of the current Ivy Ridge stop and included an icehouse. It was mostly a freight station/whistle stop which ended in the 1930's. The Glen Willow yard is still accessible, fairly empty, paved over with sidings removed. Between 1835 and 1870, during P,G & N days, it was called Springfield.
The Cinnaminson stop on the Pennsy was at the current Ivy Ridge and only had a shelter. It was named after a small Swedish village that was present before Manayunk existed as a community.
