Although the Reading's paint schemes really don't have formal names other than their colors, such as "pullman green scheme", "yellow-and-green scheme," etc., what I've most heard most frequently regarding the paint scheme you reference is either the "1970s scheme" or "Reading green scheme" used interchangeably since the scheme came into existence in the 1970s (supposedly since it was cheaper to apply, and the Reading was in bankruptcy at the time) and Reading green was the principal color used.

The scheme was applied to the entire class of GP39-2, GP40-2, SW1001 and MP15 locomotives acquired new in the 1970s, and was also applied to three other road units - GP35 #3640, RS3 #449 and GP7 #614. In addition, several other switchers of various classes were painted in this scheme as they were shopped. The scheme was not applied to any six-axle power.

Thank You Tom very much for the help. I really like the Reading green scheme the best out of all the scheme's the Reading had.

Thank You - Frank
