Do you mean Cedar Hill yard in New Haven, Hamden and North Haven, CT? If so, there is usually CSX power at the northern end of,the yard, visible in North Haven at the PC Richards parking lot, or from the flyover bridge. At that point, the main line (Amtrak) is on the western edge of the swamp. The Airline Lead also leaves Cedar Hill at the same location, and you can occasionally see a stone train.

There are some rough times on this RR radio page. Look for CT Southern CSO-1. There are some CSX and Providence and Worcester, although the latter don't seem to have a set schedule. Many freights run when Amtrak or CTRail aren't around to bother them (night). Similar to the Shoreline run east of New Haven.
