I recently came across some old pictures (see links) of some old excursions conducted by the P&W in the 1980's. Except for their observation car, the New Englander, most (if not all) the passenger cars that were in service for that train no longer appear to be in service. Does anyone know the numbers of these cars or where they ended up? One of those cars, 4592 "Rhode Island", is currently in Millbury, MA at the senior center.
