They may have become "shop queens",too expensive to keep running,
may become "parts donors" to keep other GE's running or Exported out of the US.

Export, or scrap :) Old beasts, so I'm not surprised to see them going.

Seems this was the last batch of cabless B-30s in existence. I have some slides of one or two in BN green on hell gate.

P&W has been moving away from Dash 7s for a while now; I'm surprised the B-units stayed around as long as they did.

NRE builds a lot of gensets. Perhaps the frames and trucks of these units are destined for that.
