I'm guessing they've just plain been replaced by the leased EMDs... ?

They may have become "shop queens",too expensive to keep running,
may become "parts donors" to keep other GE's running or Exported out of the US.

Export, or scrap Old beasts, so I'm not surprised to see them going.

Seems this was the last batch of cabless B-30s in existence. I have some slides of one or two in BN green on hell gate.

P&W has been moving away from Dash 7s for a while now; I'm surprised the B-units stayed around as long as they did.

NRE builds a lot of gensets. Perhaps the frames and trucks of these units are destined for that.
