Peak season

Has been very quiet on whether railroads are performing during peak season. Is there such a thing anymore, or has 'peak' been told to 'hit the highway', literally?

Peak Season is still very much a thing ... at least on the railroad I used to work for (BNSF).
Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel
Is just a freight train coming your way
