A while ago there a question about days the train was running up to Brooksville. At the time it was down to 1-2 times per week. From my observations and people who live within horn blowing distance from the line it appears that there has not been a train for more then 1 month. Does anyone have any details?

TBO.Com (Tampa Bay Online) reported today (10/13) that a 137 ton railcar (covered hopper) "slid " off the track in Tampa at North 30th St north of Sligh Av. They stated that car was heading to Brooksville. On board was powder lime. There were no injuries or or leaks. "CSX is working to remove the car". The photo shows the covered hopper with one truck on the ground. From this information, guess trains are still are going to Brooksville
