The book Comprehensive Guide to Industrial Locomotives, third edition, lists two GE 45-ton locomotives in Huntington, WV, at the Huntington Coal Transportation Corp. One of them, No. 97, was previously Metro Track Contractors during the building of the DC subway system and had also been No. 3 at the Springfield Hospital in Sykesville, MD. Does anyone know if this locomotive is still on site in Huntington?
