Does anyone know if the Albany & Eastern has an engine house or if engines are kept out in the open? It appears from Google Maps, they are in the open. Thanks.

Kept out in the open. AERC is generally railfan friendly so if you're in the area stop in the office. However don't trespass on AERC/RFC property. Most of their facility where the engines are parked is a very active industrial area shared by other subsidiaries of AERC's parent company (Rick Franklin Corporation). Sometimes they'll have the engines parked right up to Industrial Way though.
