I'm guessing yes, because the 2-8-4s lasted until 1958. Two of NKP's major interchange partners at Buffalo were DL&W and LV. The DL&W began piggyback service in 1954, followed by LV a year later. Thus it seems likely the NKP Berks did handle a few "pig shots" during the twilight of their careers.
