Recently acquired this thick book of probably over 150 photos. It is a well-docomented photo record of NKP passenger cars. There are some photos with 1940s dates on them. Many photos are embossed "Built by Pullman Car & MFG. Corp. Chicago." Could someone give me any info on this? Was it used for internal reference? I also have a freight car photo record. Once again, many photos with multiple photos of each car. Thanks.

I'd consult with the Illinois Railroad Museum and the Newberry Library in Chicago. While the label looks modern, the binding looks industrial. This may be something the Nickel Plate got from Pullman, or it may be an internal record of Pullman that got in the wrong hands.
