There was a program about it on Discovery or a like channel. It was filmed in a scrap yard, and it showed the whole demolition. The prime mover was sent to a rebuild center, where it showed them repairing and machining the block. The AR10 was scrapped for copper ( I wonder why they didn't rewind it). At the end of the show, they saved the cab because someone needed it for a wreck replacement.
They said that they were going to start scrapping a sister unit, but someone bought it to rebuild.
