I was wondering how many white KCS units are still running today. If there are any, what models are they?

The 682 and 683 are currently running in Louisiana. I've been on both of them in the last couple of weeks. Both are past they're prime. 682's not bad, but the 683...ugh. I have pictures of the 682 somewhere. Be happy to email them too you.

I just saw 1918 in white at the yard on Airline Highway in Metairie, LA. It was in the back off of Cold Storage Road.

691 is in the Baton Rouge, LA yard right now sitting on the shop line with most of the long hood doors open. Not sure what is wrong with her. She is still wearing white paint.

I can't see the image I posted of 691 any longer. I am posting pictures of KCS 691 on rr-FallenFlags.org and Railpictures.net. They should be posted in a few days. Thanks.
