Have a buddy heading to Norco after rules class in Shreveport. Does KCS offer any type of housing or housing programs for new guys in Norco or is he on his own?

NORCO is essentially a oil refinery/chemical plant complex. I don't think he'd want to live there anyway. NORCO stands for New Orleans Refining Company, a predecessor company of the current operators.

Last year when I was in training....KCS offered hotel during ALL of training. That should give ample time to find a place to live and save up some money.
