In this time I'm very busy but turning in the city I discovered some plinthed locos and carriages that can be of interest for rail fans.
During the "Pacific War" in the second half of 1800 Lima was protected by some "reductos" (defending structures) and, to celebrate that era, in the '90s of XXth century the Miraflores district mayor built up a museum in the site of #2 reducto. The man in charge of the work had the idea of building a copy of the old Miraflores station of the Lima-Miraflores-Chorrillos railroad that had been near there and, to give visitors the feel of a train waiting, put a loco and a carriage at the building ends.

The loco, 3 ft gauge, was built by Baldwin in 1929 and comes from the Cuzco-Macchu Pichu-Quillabamba railway where, in its last times, had #102; it has been restored as it was originally.

Instead the carriage is standard gauge and comes from the Ferrocarril Central. It was built in Peru into the '30s under north-american design and has been painted with inscriptions of the Chorrillos line as a dining car.
