Arcade & Attica #18 Out in the Sunshine

On 4 August, the Arcade & Attica Railroad ran steam locomotive #18 through a preliminary test under steam. According to the railroad Superintendent, the testing went well, and there is some follow-up work to be completed, including a paint job.

This is the first #18 has been out of bed in about 5 years, and it is nice to see her in the sunshine again.

That's great news! I would have liked to have seen that, but we were 2 weeks early having visited on the July 20-22 weekend.

Well, I waited a while to ask this (cuz I was hoping someone else would ask it first ) but how soon can I ride!!!!
Does this mean that all government paperwork has been done and that she is ready to roll or does all that stuff still have to be done?
And has any estimate at all been given on an offical return to pulling passengers? As long as its not this weekend, I will be there!
If you need some help with the painting, Ill pick up some cans of krylon after work tomorrow and come down and help
