An interesting map has shown up on Ebay. It's a blueprint map of a proposed connection of the B.A.&A. to Buffalo dated Nov 1st, 1901. The connections would be near Java Center. According to the description the wye was graded but nothing was ever completed. I don't remember reading about this but all my A&A info is packed up at the moment. Is this talked about in any of the books?

I saw that item too. Some very interesting things related to the A&A have been sold recently by a seller in Alaska. I am not questioning the authenticity of his stuff, but I wish I knew who it was and how he was/is connected with the A&A.

I remember the good old days of EBay, when it showed the bidder's full name during the auction process. If it was someone I recognized, I wouldn't start a bidding war with him.

Ed Lewis' A&A book speaks to this extension. There is a map showing the communities that the extension would run through in the book, beginning in Java Center. It also talks about the wye being graded if I remember correctly.

Sounds like it might be referring to the proposed electric trolley line? Grading was started from Java Center somewhat along Rt 78 up towards Java Village and Strykersville but I don't think anything else was ever completed.
