I was on their website recently and they announced that for 2011 they had a new, "sixth," coach. I recall that at one time (1990s?) they had three Boonton combines and three Boonton coaches. They had at least one other Boonton car- don't recall if it was a coach or combine- with a different style roof covering. I know Pat knows more about it, as I trade my slide of it to him.

Is the "new" 6th coach one of the "original" Boonton ones that was restored to operating condition, or is it the Knox & Kane care that was purchased a couple of years ago? I didn't get a chance to ride last year and am a bit out of the loop.

Ben, you are correct, the reference is to returning the 6th Boonton coach to service. It was #309 that sat a considerable amount of time. The K&K car has been placed on a display track at Curriers along with the Dunlop Porter and an ex B&O Box car. Restrooms are to be added to the box car at some point. We'll see what happens this year.
