Tomorrow Sunday 9/21 the AAPRCO special will depart East Deerfield at 7am and will head east along the Fitchburg Route to Ayer where it will go up the Stony Brook Main to Andover then will go to Portland, ME. The AAPRCO special consists of 3 Amtrak P42's and 26 private cars. MBTA stations where you can see this

Also on the 25th the train will go to Boston following the downeaster route then go down the Grand Junction where it will split into Eastern and Western sections.

You should have seen the expressions on peoples' faces as this train of 3 locomotive and 26 antique cars rolled slowly thru the campus and the city.
