Question about educational video.

I saw this video a few times, but at 4:34 they have a diagram of the regional railroad lines... Since some of these lines are no longer carrying passenger trains i'm wondering which lines are which. Any help would be appreciated.

I would say don't waste time on it. Among other things, it shows the NYS&W ending at Hawthorne, the NJ&NY (Pascack Valley) ending just north of Hackensack, and omits either the West Shore or the Erie Northern Branch, and that's just the upper half. I think it's only intended to be illustrative.
