I'm wondering if it is really a slow down or just the spots I am in, but when I am watching trains early in the morning, from 6aM to 7:30/8AM I see minimal amounts to no trains. This has occured to me in Gillette, WY, Medora, ND, Dorval, QE, Herkimer, NY, and Cleveland, OH. Three of the spots(Dorval, Gillette, Cleveland) I was on the mainline just past yards. Before and after that time trains usually ran on 15-20 minute intervals but in that 2 hour time frame I see at max 2 trains. Is this truly a slowdown period or am I just continually hitting the places at the wrong time?
