For those interested, locomotive horn collectors from around the country will descend on Altoona this coming Saturday, May 19th, 2018, meeting at the world-famous Horseshoe Curve, to exhibit a wide array of genuine diesel locomotive horns mounted on specially outfitted road vehicles, allowing full psi sounding of those horns up and down Veterans Memorial Highway. The festivities begin at 9am and go well into the night when the cooler air makes for great echoes.

There's no admission price to enjoy the show. You're welcome to come out and watch the great exhibition we put on. If you love the sound of locomotive horns in action (especially vintage horns that don't see use on current railroads anymore), then come out and hear the music.

If you're unable to attend but would still like to hear the sounds, the 24/7 webcam located at the Horseshoe Curve has a microphone on it that picks up the audio in the area very well. Here's the link! :

Only 2 more weeks to go!

To give everyone an idea of what we do, here's a video from last September's meet by the host of our event, Ed Kaspriske :

Looks like the original link for the Horseshoe Curve webcam broke.

Here's a new one!
