Hi all,

I'm planning a long scheduled trip to Scranton and the surrounding area to chase the DL on a Saturday coming up. I have had vague knowledge of their ops up until recently, however I know their schedule has changed a little, since NS is now interchanging in Scranton instead of Portland. I was hoping to find out if anyone knows the wheres and whens for their Saturday operations now?

Thanks for your help!

If you can scare up a copy of Railfan magazine, October 2017 issue, it had a feature article on Genesee Valley Transportation. Near the end of the article, it says operations on the Delaware Lackawanna are seven days a week. Probably too late for your planned trip. Hope you had good luck.

I crossed there many times. I would never expected a rail would fly up and out like that. It would have killed someone standing trackside.
