The diamond in Geneva no longer exists..
looks like it was pulled up fairly recently:

If you look at all four of the north, south, east and west versions,
in one of them it looks like the diamond is still in place! although hidden under freight cars..
that photo is probably 5 to 10 years old..

you could see more than 4 pictures. if you shift pic over to nearest edge. new pictures will appears and it's always different pictures. I got about 10 but only one shows that one end is right up to cars as you mentioned.

Isn't that the same one we just discussed? or different one?

Answer to Matt langworthy,s 05 question about possible diamonds at B&S and Pennsy crossing in Arcade and B&S BR&P crossing outside Springville.B&S bridged over BR&P south of Genesee Rd,abutments still exist.Pennsy bridged over B&S on same struture that took the Pennsy over Cattaraugus Creek, after B&S abandoment the Pennsy filled and shortend the bridge burying the B&S row.

Thanx! I'd forgotten about those locations until this thread had been revived.

I don't see the one in Machias, NY on your list. I know that someone posted photos of it on here before.

Is that diamond still in place, or was it removed when the R&S removed the tracks between the ex-PRR connector
and Silver Springs?

Here is some info on Some CPs from the spv maps mention as possible-
B&S / Pennsy @ Arcade Jct - b&s went under the prr
B&S / TVC @ Arcade - b&s purchase row of tvc south of arcade. They did not operate at same time.
Erie (River Line) / TVC @ Cuba - diamond crossover, and dual gauge track to Cuba station
Pennsy / TVC @ Cuba tv&c crossed over on wood trestle
B&S / BRP @ Freedom - b&s over head
BRP / TVC between Freedom and Farmersville - tv&c over head
Erie (B&SW) / Buffalo & Susquehanna (B&S) @ Hamburg - b&s over head
BR&P / B&S @ Springville - b&s over head north of village

Also, while not still in use, the BSOR has another industrial diamond. On the property of the old psychiatric hospital (correctional facility now) there was a spur to the coal tipple that crosses the south leg of the wye near Gowanda. It is still there but has not been used in a long time.

Interesting how both of those diamonds involve connections to industrial spurs that use part of the interurban right of way - that could have been connected to one another that way as well as the roundabout way they use now.

Scot -

Two corrections to your 'gone' list. #13 - There were two diamond locations originally at BD/Liberty Street for D&H to cross the Erie, to get to DL&W toward the east and west. Also, #18 - Erie/DL&W did not cross with diamonds at Chemung. DL&W went up and over the Erie on a through truss bridge, known to DL men as Nine Mile Bridge. West of the bridge, there was a high fill that is now part of NY17/I-86 east bound lanes, all the way back to where the curve towards the geographical west started. East of the bridge the DL wrapped around the end of that low hill as it hugged the south side of the valley to pass through Wilawanna. You can still see the DL ROW fairly good this time of year as you drive east on 86. I have a pic of the bridge around here somewhere.

One update/correction for the 'still' list - Buffalo diamond you refer to was Nickel Plate/South Buffalo, two tracks each (4 diamonds, on a curve), now just one diamond on CSX track 2 for the N&W Westbound, as it was called for years, within CP-Draw. The BSOR connection at CP-Draw is a switch (#25 IIRC) off of Main 2 just west of the diamond. There is another diamond still in service just a few hundred feet away within CP-2, where the Ohio Street Lead crosses Main 3 between CP-Draw and the Lehigh Westbound hand switch.

I didn't go back very far in this list, but other locations I don't see on the list are Petersburg Junction - Rutland/B&M, Corning AQ tower - NYC(Fall Brook)/Erie (both two tracks), Kingston - U&D/West Shore and Cambell Hall - Erie/Erie and NYOW/Erie. There are dozens of others ......

For the gone file: LV over West Shore, Canastota. While the LV went up a ramp and crossed the NYC mainline on a bridge, it crossed the West Shore on a diamond until about 1960 when the NYC tracks through town were elevated.
