That bulkhead flat is an empty out of Plassche Lumber in East Williamson. Conrail's last train was the previous week. Although the photo is the first official day of OMID operation, there was an "after dark" run by OMID management over the weekend to get the car to Sodus, thereby saving the crew a move Monday morning, and saving the cost of car hire by getting the car off line. Today liability and other issues would probably preclude such activity, but it was a simpler time back then in many ways.
