Yesterday’s daily manifest train (NS 38G) saw Norfolk Southern’s “Pennsylvania Railroad Heritage Unit” #8102 doing the honors of leading the train into South Jersey. Unfortunately for me, I was stuck at work and was not able to be around to load up on pictures. However this morning, the same power that brought the train in, was now being used to take the outbound train (NS 39G) out. I arrived along the outskirts of Pavonia Yard to see the PRR Heritage Unit behind a Union Pacific leader, making their way through the freight yard to begin the work of assembling their train.
